Paying Attention – Keeping a close eye on your dog

Keeping a close eye on your dog is very important.  No one likes it when accidents happen, especially when it causes damage.  Food left on table and counter tops is likely to be eaten if the dog can reach it, and could potentially cause your dog to be sick.  Also, letting a dog out frequently is always important.  Dogs can’t go in litterboxes and more often than not have small bladders.  Everyone hates it when such accidents occur, so keep an eye on your dog to make sure that they’re okay and don’t need anything.  Also be wary of leaving them alone for a long time, especially when they are still being house trained.  If that’s the case, a cage during house training is recommended so that any messes the dog are limited to a certain area.
