It’s the end of summer and you are preparing for fall. School maybe in for some of you, others might be preparing their kids for a fall term. Getting your kids ready for school can be a tedious and time consuming affair. During these times, you must remember not to forget your other family member, your dog.
Your dog feels the tension in your household and reacts in different ways. He might start doing things that are not normal like ,chewing the couch, playing with shoes, particularly the kids shoes, dirtying in the house. It’s important to remember that he his feeling anxiety too and this especially goes fo puppies.
One way to include your dog in family activities is going for a long walk. Take your dog with you to the cottage. Perhaps purchase a new dog bed or chew toy. Make your dog feel important this fall and always use positive reinforcement.
